Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia
“The ‘Philadelphia Bicycle Coalition’ was founded in a bar in Amtrak’s 30th Street Station, and and originally spent the bulk of its efforts on preserving bicyclists’ rights on roads, bridges, and on transit. The Coalition has been instrumental in millions of dollars in funding being committed to bicycle infrastructure in the Greater Philadelphia Region. In 2002, the organization changed its name to the Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia.”
